FreeSpeak II® Digital Wireless Intercom Systems

FreeSpeak II is a five-channel, full-duplex wireless intercom solution, ideal for large-scale, complex designs or specialized applications–requiring team members to be untethered and talking in independent channels of communication. After years of field experience and refinement, FreeSpeak II has become the de facto standard for wireless intercom operation in the 1.9GHz and 2.4GHz band across various markets. The exceptional RF performance and reliable connections across the system give users the peace of mind they need for staying connected at every major event, programming, stage performance, critical or mass area operation

System Diagram

In a single-frequency band configuration, the FreeSpeak II base station can support as few as one or as many as 10 Transceivers for providing wireless coverage to a maximum of 25 full-duplex wireless beltpacks in either 1.9GHz or 2.4GHz frequency band. Add the fiber-based Splitter box to extend the transceiver position to as far as 60,000 feet away from the base station.

Expanded Diagram

In a multiple-frequency configuration, a single FreeSpeak II base station can cover a very large coverage zone with up to 60 Transceivers for wireless communication of up to 50 1.9GHz and 40 2.4GHz full duplex wireless beltpacks in the same radio space.  This setup is ideal for applications that require more wireless users or for adding 1.9GHz DECT wireless in areas where there is high intensity of 2.4GHz interference.
