Optimal for small- and medium-scale systems and despite their compact cabinet size, these models inherit various, proven MFR-5000 Series functions such as the interface function for multi-link synced operation and tally and automatic source name tracking connections with peripheral devices (video switchers and multi-viewers).
MFR-5100EX is a multi-format routing switcher supporting 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, ASI, MADI, and AES. Inside the 8RU case a matrix of up to 128 inputs/128 outputs can be configured. Furthermore, multiple units can be linked to expand the matrix and provide redundancy, making it a flexible core product for system integration.
